Ahoy — Pip here, your lighthouse keeper. A computer can feel like a sealed box that somehow just knows things. It isn't. Inside is a small crew of simple parts, each with one honest job, working together very, very fast.

In this course we'll open the lid and meet that crew one member at a time. We'll start at the smallest possible piece — a single yes-or-no — and build up to the chip that thinks, the memory it thinks in, the storage that remembers when the power's off, and the parts that let you see and touch it all.
